Shipping Policy – Japan Anime Vintage
⚠️ Important Notice: Changes to Import Duties & Taxes
🇺🇸 United States (Effective August 29, 2025) The U.S. de minimis exemption has been eliminated. All shipments to the United States are now subject to import duties and processing fees, regardless of order value or country of origin.
🇪🇺 European Union (Effective July 1, 2026) All shipments to EU countries are subject to an additional customs handling fee of €3 per item, in addition to applicable VAT.
All duties and taxes are covered under our DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping — no additional charges upon delivery.
1. Countries / Regions We Ship To Asia: Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand Americas: United States, Canada Oceania: Australia, New Zealand Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City Note: We do not ship to Japan.
2. Handling Time Orders are shipped within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Japanese public holidays. During peak seasons, handling times may be extended.
3. Shipping Method DHL Express or FedEx All orders are shipped via DHL Express or FedEx with tracking. The carrier is selected based on destination and package size. One tracking number is issued per order. If you wish to receive multiple items in a single shipment, please add all items to the same cart and place one order.
4. Shipping Fees (Order Value-Based) — Duties & Taxes Included (DDP) All shipping fees include import duties and taxes. No additional charges will be applied at delivery.

5. Duties & Taxes All applicable import duties and taxes are included in the shipping fee (Delivered Duty Paid / DDP). You will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery.
6. Returned Shipments Shipments may be returned due to customs issues, refusal of delivery, or incorrect address. In such cases:
- We will notify you that the package has been returned.
- Reshipment: Original shipping plus reshipping fees are payable by the customer.
- Refund: If you opt for a refund, the following non-refundable costs will be deducted from the reimbursed amount: original shipping fee, import duties, taxes, customs handling fees, and any other carrier charges incurred.
- Any carrier fees incurred during the return process are the customer's responsibility.
